The Ipswich Alpha Explorer Unit meets on a Friday evening 7-9pm. Rob, Heather, Kris, James, and Steve.
The Explorers do a number of activities including Camping, Hiking, Caving, Climbing, Navigating as well as District Events and Camps. In 2013 they went to Belgium as participants in the Belgium jamboree in JamBe, and in 2014 had a summer camp in Cornwall.
The Explorers also have a set of badges each Explorer can achieve. These can be found here
The Unit has 3 members who were selected to go to the 23rd World Scout Jamboree in Japan in 2015, and more information on it can be found at http://www.23wsj.jp/
